Tyler Star News, March 17, 1932 ENTRIES IN THE SHOWER OF GOLD FOR COMMUNITY'S BEAUTIFUL BABIES Ask for baby votes when making purchases at the co-operating stores and vote them for your favorite. Following are the baby entries to date and their votes accepted for publication. The ballot boxes placed in the cooperating stores will be opened upon each Monday during the election and the votes tabulated. See to it that your favorite baby has a good representation in the next vote count. Active balloting has just begun. |
Wilbur had four entrants in this "election" that included babies from Tyler and Wetzel counties in West Virginia and areas of Ohio. While we do not have the final results, it appeared from interim vote counts that the Wilbur contestants were doing quite well.
